THE GAP- FILLER
Main text: Mark 6:34
The term gap is synonymous to Space, crack or vacuum.
On the other hand filler literally points to replacement.
If a building develops a crack, it will definitely need to be filled. However, if the crack is on the foundation, it really become problematic to mend it because the foundation matters a lot on the the building.
Likewise, we have to pay much attention to our children's foundation generally at a tender age because they are our immediate gap fillers when we're gone since we're not going to live here forever.
👉It is high time we nurtured them carefully in order to keep our legacy. Many children have disappointed their parents by selling off what they toiled for and yet for so many years.

Please parents let's nurture the gap fillers.
👉 Let us also sell our Visions to the children. The more we clearly show them what we intend them to become the better will they become gap fillers.

NOTE
" Children always do what they grow up seeing their parents doing. Therefore let us always become great examples to them in order for them to fit in our shoes."

<<Back to our text of Mark 6:34
👉We note that no one took responsibility of feeding the flock apart from Jesus. People were like sheep without shepherd. Let's become more responsible to the problems people are facing.
God knows our ability and we need to make use of that ability to fill the gaps.
👉We also need to look for the need. Where to stand in the Kingdom of God. Jeremiah 3:15.
Lastly if we are to be gap fillers;
-We need to be prepared/mentored.
-A gap filler does things the way she/he expected.
-Our ability is not imbedded in the titles
In conclusion, let us aim at becoming gap fillers.
Blessings!

# When the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians about the implications of the gospel when it comes to who we are as the called-out people of God, he says leaders were given by the Holy Spirit to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry. He states the results of this equipping is that everyone will be able to push the gospel deeper into one another’s lives.
Now, don’t you find it interesting that in this same letter Paul includes instructions to employers and employees, husbands and wives, but also to parents AND children (Ephesians 6:1-4). Paul assumed that children and youth were not only present in the reading of the letter, but also active participants in the body of Christ and ministers in their own right.
Youth are more than merely capable to engage the disciplemaking mission of God, they are critical to its completion! They are co-laborers and co-creators now. They received the same Holy Spirit as you and me. They possess gifts to awaken, nurture and activate for the benefit of the body and the advancement of the gospel. Youth are not mere objects of ministry; they are agents of reconciliation to the world.
